don't waste your ad budget!

Hey Reader,

If you're spending on Amazon ads but still not getting sales, you're making some serious mistakes.

Because PPC isn't just about spending money. It's about knowing where the money should go and where it shouldn't.

Avoid these 4 mistakes at all costs:

1. If you're not using negative keywords, your ads will get random clicks with no conversions, wasting your money.

When you sell "wireless earbuds" but don't add "wired" as a negative keyword, your ads show up for people searching "wired earbuds." They click, realize it's not what they want, and leave. You just paid ₹15-20 for a useless click. This happens hundreds of times without proper negative keywords, burning your budget on irrelevant traffic.

2. Don't skip auto campaigns in the beginning. They help you discover high-converting keywords.

Many sellers think manual campaigns are "better" and skip auto campaigns entirely. Big mistake. Auto campaigns show Amazon's algorithm which keywords work for your product. After 2-3 weeks, you can see which search terms actually convert and add them to your manual campaigns. Without this data, you're flying blind.

3. If your listing isn't strong, even paid traffic won't convert, and your ad budget will go to waste.

Imagine paying ₹500 to get 25 clicks, but your main image is blurry and your title is confusing. Those 25 visitors will leave immediately. No amount of ad spend can fix a weak listing. Your conversion rate stays below 5%, making every click expensive and unprofitable.

4. If you're only running broad match, your ad will show up everywhere, even where it's not needed. That's not smart.

Broad match for "yoga mat" might show your ad for "yoga classes," "yoga books," or "yoga instructor course." None of these people want to buy a mat. Use exact match and phrase match to control where your ads appear, ensuring you only pay for relevant clicks.

These are just 4 mistakes, but sellers make many more— And then wonder why they're not getting results.

The truth is, a successful PPC isn't about spending more money. It's about spending smarter. Every rupee should have a purpose, and every click should have potential to convert.

See you then.

Happy building!

Hey Reader, Are you burning money on Amazon ads? It's because most sellers jump straight into PPC without building a foundation. Running ads on weak foundations is like building a house on sand. Hey Reader, The 3 biggest myths Amazon sellers believe (and why they'll make you fail): 1. "Just sell what others are selling" Wrong. If copying worked, every second person would be successful on Amazon. When you sell the same products as 500 other sellers, you enter a brutal price war where nobody wins. Everyone cuts prices to survive, margins disappear, and customers have no reason to choose you specifically. Amazon rewards unique value, not copy-paste strategies. The platform runs on data...
