importing is not as easy as it seems.

Hey Reader,

Importing from China is challenging if you ignore the basics.

If you don't work with the right importer, losing money becomes a real possibility.

Here are 3 things you must follow while importing:

1. Always take proper paperwork like bill, agreement, and GST invoice.

No documents mean high chances of fraud.

Without proper documentation, you have zero legal protection. If the quality is poor or the shipment never arrives, you can't even file a complaint. Plus, customs clearance becomes a nightmare without correct invoices. Always insist on detailed purchase orders, quality agreements, and proper GST documentation before any payment is made.

2. Ask for live videos and images before sending money.

A product that looks good in a catalogue may not be the same in reality.

Catalogue photos are often misleading. That so-called "high quality" product might be flimsy plastic in reality. Careful importers always request live factory videos showing the actual production line, close-ups of materials used, and packaging process.

3. Choose an importer who gives clear quality assurance and allows part payment.

If someone asks for the full amount in advance without taking responsibility, don’t depend on them. A reliable importer always provides quality assurance and shares responsibility.

Trusted importers understand that confidence is built over time. They’re willing to accept 30–50% advance and balance on delivery because they stand by their quality. Fraudulent operators usually demand 100% payment in advance and then vanish once they get your money.

Importing can be rewarding only if done carefully. One mistake can cause long-term losses.

Remember: Your Amazon business is only as strong as your supply chain. One bad import experience can wipe out months of effort, good rankings, and customer confidence. The extra time spent checking importers properly is nothing compared to the cost of getting it wrong.

Don’t let excitement about margins cloud your judgment. The lowest quote often turns out to be the costliest mistake.

Hey Reader, Most sellers pick products randomly and then wonder why they're struggling. Here's how to find opportunities that actually work: Don't waste time on small, cheap products. Everyone thinks selling ₹200 phone covers or ₹300 keychains will make them rich. It won't. These products have terrible margins. Too much competition. You'll spend more on ads than you'll make in profit. Focus on products that cost ₹1,500 or more. Better margins, serious buyers, less price wars. Use the right...

Hey Reader, Experience can be your worst enemy on Amazon. Mr. Goswami learned this the hard way. He had 15 years in home decor. Knew every supplier, every trend, every customer preference. So, when he started selling on Amazon, he stuck to what he knew - small decorative items, wall hangings, tiny accessories. Made perfect sense, right? Wrong. These products were destroying his business slowly. -₹50 profit per item. - Hundreds of competitors selling the same stuff. - Constant price wars. -...
